Delayed light at Whalley Ave and Fitch St. -- As traffic heads westbound toward Westville on Whalley, the traffic light stays on red much longer than the oncoming traffic light. Oncoming traffic heading eastbound, gets a green left turn arrow. The westbound direction red light stays on for an unusual and unnecessary long time causing a major back-up of traffic on Whalley. There are times when traffic is backed up and at a standstill as far back as West Park Ave and Osborne Ave. Please check the timing on this traffic light to alleviate this recurring issue. This causes traffic entering that intersection to back-up unnecessarily. Please remove the automatic setting.
